A great example of Unity in Diversity for the Nation
Today, 07 June 2025, at the Embassy of India in Berlin, we had the honour of participating in a powerful and heartfelt interaction with an All-Party Parliamentary Delegation from India, representing diverse ideologies but a united vision for Bharat’s global presence.
The delegation was led by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad (Senior BJP Leader, MP from Patna Sahib, Former Union Minister of Law & IT) and included the following respected members:

Indian Diaspora’s Grace and Unity Praised by Parliamentary Delegation in Germany
It was a great opportunity for us, as members of the Indian diaspora- to gather from different parts of Germany and experience a unique moment of connection with leaders representing India’s broad democratic spectrum.
A great example of Unity in Diversity for the Nation — this gathering beautifully reflected India’s essence, where leaders across party lines came together to engage with the global Indian community in a spirit of shared identity and purpose.
The delegation appreciated the maturity, unity, and responsible conduct shown by the Indian diaspora in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack. A two-minute silence was observed to honour the victims, followed by a collective pledge to stand united against terrorism.
The leaders also acknowledged India’s rapid progress and its rising global influence, emphasizing how the diaspora’s contributions reflect the strength of Bharat beyond borders.
During recent meetings with German officials, the presence of over 250 individuals representing various communities and groups from the Indian diaspora in Germany was acknowledged with great respect. The discussions highlighted that the Indian community’s graceful lifestyle, professional discipline, and strong social cohesion have left a meaningful and lasting impression on German institutions and society.
The respected Indian Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Ajit Gupte, shared that, according to recent reports, more than 300,000 proud Indians are currently living in Germany. Their valuable contributions across multiple sectors continue to enrich both the cultural fabric and economic landscape of the country.
This was not merely a diplomatic event, but a moment of pride. It affirmed that we, the diaspora, play a vital role in shaping India’s image internationally — as a nation of values, vision, and vibrant culture.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Embassy of India in Berlin, the esteemed parliamentary delegation, and all individuals dedicated to strengthening Indo-German relations- built on trust, mutual respect, and collaboration.
